As with all programs, new releases are regularly issued. With Kazaa lite the updates are VERY frequent.

Current latest version of Kazaa , as at end Jan 2003 :  Kazaa lite 2.0.2 ( K++ 2.0.2 Edition)

There are many great benefits with installing or upgrading to the very latest edition.

Important issues first  - VERY IMPORTANT TO READ THIS !

Before installing a copy of Kazaa lite, your computer MUST NOT have any other file sharing programs installed, such as Grokster or E-Donkey.
More important is that your computer should not have any trace of the 'official' version of 'Kazaa'. Again, you need to keep in mind Kazaa lite is entirely separate from the original Kazaa.

If you do have any File sharers installed, then do the following...

-standard control panel and 'remove' the selected programs. 
-Then, restart your pc.
-Run an Anti-spyware program such as Ad-aware - this will clean the registry of any dead registry keys that need removing.

Then you can either restart your pc (restarting after program removal is always a good idea), or proceed straight to installing Kazaa lite.
