me again

i had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall all my programs. and of course the map editor. got it up and going. no problems. except for one small problem......when i hit Ctrl + S to save.....the save screen doesnt pop up. you can see my dilema. im currently working on an 8 player map this time and wanna get it up and running soon. any help would be great!! thanx!!

Hmm, thats a new one to me.

Are you running vista ? Sounds like some kind of display/overlay pop-up issue.

actualy i solved my problem. i figured it had to do with my target line. some how i ended up with and extra " in there some where. but thanks for getting to it right away!! after my latest 8 player map being so succesfull im anxious to crank out a couple more.

Well done.

See...its usually a case of players forgetting to do something.

The Armada map editor has to be one of the most tricky bits of editing/software I've ever used. There are times when I've often wondered how anyone had the patience to make a single map !

you know i find that funny. cause once i have it going.....i have no problems what so ever. heck even placing cameras are easy. i love making the maps. and people seem to enjoy the ones i create.

Every map makes all the difference.

The 'glory days' of this game are now long past, but still, its good to see a slightly different version of a classic map be released. How many games can say that after 8 years ? :D

well if your running out of ideas hows about this one the map called

pen4a redo it make it 8 player but make a spot at the front of each base (solely for watchers to decom)
& removed the UEA from the right hand middle side as a lot of people
moan that that causes the game to lag for them (also to have that pen with watch spots would be good)
i cba installing the map editor & doing it myself :D ... or maybe i can
